On July 15, 2010 I closed on my new condominium that I purchased in Vancouver, Washginton. I am a retired, widowed, senior citizen. I currently reside just north of Pittsburgh, PA. I contacted Mr. Vaughn before I visited Vancouver in June and he emailed me a number of home possibilities. He truly listened to what I was looking for and on the day he took me to tour the condos I was interested in I was able to find exactly what I was looking for and I made no concessions from my wish list. I flew back to PA, then made my decision to buy a few days later. Lynn handled the entire process with efficiency, precision and most of all stressfree. I was able to close one month after the phone call to ask him to put in a offer for me. Everything was handled via phone, internet and fax.
My wife and I had to relocate from Vancouver (Maple Crest) to Phoenix in January because of my new job, and we were very concerned about physically leaving the house behind to sell in this down market. We had to make sure whatever agent we picked would stay in constant contact with us so there would be a feeling of being on top of the selling process.
We used Lynn as our agent, and not only did he keep in constant contact with us, he was able to help us sell the home in one months time (from post date to close date). Lynn's responsiveness is a benchmark for other agents to stive for.
There were some inssues with my employer's relocation company during the selling prcess, and it was Lynn who stepped in to make sure everything was in order during the entire process, sometimes telling the relocation company what needed to be done.
We are so happy with Lynn's ability to sell our home, we have asked him to help us find a new agent in Phoenix to assist us in buying our new home. He located the perfect agent for us and we are closing on our new home soon.

I recently purchased my first home with the assistance of Lynn Vaughn of RE/MAX, and feel compelled to share my experience with all concerned.
Whether a person is a first time homebuyer or a veteran to the process, there can be no dispute that there are numerous details to be considered during any real estate undertaking and that feelings of uncertainty often can and do arise from the beginning. I was no exception in my apprehension though my concerns immediately began to fade the moment I met Lynn.
As we began the process of searching for my perfect home I was impressed with how flexible and accommodating Lynn was with my busy schedule when setting up appointments to view property. In addition, he was extremely informative as to what to expect during the entire process. This enabled me to take a more proactive approach so that I had everything in place at key points along the way.
I was impressed even further as I began to realize just how much I could rely on Lynn when I needed information. He answered his phone directly and, if not, returned my calls within minutes. He also has a unique balance of patience and a focused sense of urgency when needed.
On a more personal level he has a sincere human approach to the whole process and I truly believe this to be his true motivation. One of helping others to achieve their goals. Many of his comments such as, "If you're not having fun you're not doing it right" will continue to ring in my mind and motivate me for years to come.
In this day and age I personally find continual frustration through incompetence, complacency and a general lack of accountability. Lynn projects a symbol of professionalism that I believe has been all but lost in our society during recent years. I was extremely fortunate to have met him at a time when I could not accept anything less than total commitment and excellence.
If I were to meet anyone that was considering the purchase or sale of a home, I would not only recommend Lynn Vaughn, but urge them to seek out his assistance exclusively.

He worked with us in finding a specific type of home we needed and was more then willing to use e-mail as a communication tool. This was great for us because we were able to preview houses from the comfort of our home, so when we were ready to look, we knew exactly which ones we wanted to see. Lynn didn't try to convince us to buy the first home we saw, thank goodness, but actually pointed out both good and bad qualities, so we could make a financially good decision.
